CASEYGERRY’S FREDERICK SCHENK, WENDY BEHAN NAMED AMONG SAN DIEGO’S TOP ATTORNEYS

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – CaseyGerry attorneys Frederick Schenk and Wendy M. Behan were recently listed among San Diego’s top legal professionals in the San Diego Daily Transcript’s annual “Top Attorneys” round up.

This special publication honors the “best and brightest” in the San Diego legal arena, with 14 categories – ranging from criminal to labor/employment law – as well as the “Transcript 10.”

A partner with CaseyGerry, Schenk was lauded in the personal injury/property category, while Behan was ranked among the “Transcript 10,” which spotlights 10 noteworthy San Diego lawyers.

Lawyers in good standing with the California State Bar and licensed in the State of California and/or the Federal Patent bench were eligible for the “Top Attorney’s of 2010.”  Those included were selected following a lengthy voting process in which San Diego County lawyers were balloted and asked who amongst their peers was worthy of recognition.

“Wendy and Fred were selected from amongst hundreds of attorney – both are skilled, hard working consumer attorneys, and well deserving of this honor,” said firm partner David S. Casey Jr.

Concentrating his practice on products liability, personal injury and asbestos law, Schenk has been an attorney with Casey Gerry since 1983, and earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego (1978) and his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in communications from UCLA (1975).

Behan, who was recently named president of Lawyers Club San Diego, which for nearly 40 years has sought to advance the status of women in law and society, is a cum laude graduate of California Western School of Law (J.D. 1998) and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in law and society from UC Santa Barbara (1994).
