CaseyGerry’s Jason Evans Named Among Top 40 Under 40 by San Diego Business Journal, SD Metro

Attorney Recognized as a Top Young Professional in San Diego by Two Publications

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – CaseyGerry attorney Jason Evans has been named one of the San Diego Business Journal’s Next Top Business Leaders under 40, and will also be recognized as among SD Metromagazine’s Top “40 under 40” Professionals at a luncheon to be held October 4 at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina.

Evans was recognized by the San Diego Business Journal at an event held August 14 at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Out of 40 winners, he was one of only four attorneys selected.

Additionally, he was a winner of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s 2017 “Outstanding Trial Lawyer” award for work he did on a complicated product liability case against a medical products company. Evans is a key member of CaseyGerry’s complex litigation team, concentrating on product and premises liability, serious personal injury, class action and aviation cases.

During his eight-year tenure with CaseyGerry, he has prosecuted many multi-million dollar cases including complex, high-stakes personal injury and products liability litigation involving serious and catastrophic injury, wrongful death and traumatic brain injury. Additionally, he has handled complex class action litigation representing consumers against various corporate and financial institutions including Apple, Sony, Target, Chase Bank, Bank of America and American Express and has additional experience in whistleblower qui tam, data breach, consumer products and antitrust class actions. With a special knowledge of aviation law, he has handled a number of high profile aviation cases, including representing victims of the 2011 Reno Air Show disaster, the 2013 Asiana Airlines crash at San Francisco Airport (SFO), and multiple families enduring tragic plane crashes throughout California.

He holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
