CaseyGerry Partner Named a Top Influential Woman

Gayle M. Blatt Lauded in Local Business Publication

SAN DIEGO  –  Gayle M. Blatt, a longtime partner with CaseyGerry, is featured in The Daily Transcript’s Top Influential Women for 2019, a special supplement which honors the most talented, innovative and influential women in San Diego.

According to The Daily Transcript, a longstanding San Diego business publication, the featured professionals represent a gamut of industries – from legal to real estate to education – but have all made an important impact on their business sector and the community.

Blatt is head of CaseyGerry’s complex litigation practice group, handling high profile, multi-million cases. Earning a reputation nationwide for her skills and expertise, she has been appointed to prominent leadership roles in litigation related to global chip maker Intel for security flaws and technology giant Apple Inc. for device performance issues. And last year she was appointed to serve on the Plaintiffs Executive Committee overseeing the nationwide class action litigation related to the massive data breaches revealed by Yahoo Inc. and is the only California attorney to serve on that committee. Additionally, she currently serves as co-liaison counsel for the  Incretin Mimetic products liability cases pending in the multidistrict litigation in the Southern District of California.

Active in the community as well as professionally, she serves on the board of trustees for California Western School of Law and is on executive committee of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center. She also serves on the boards of the San Diego County Bar Association Foundation and the Tom Homann Law Association Foundation.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University and a J.D. from California Western School of Law.
