AP News – Suit: Officials ignored warnings before children’s slayings

David S. Casey, Jr. recently spoke to AP News on a recently filed wrongful death case against the County and City of Los Angeles. The suit was filed on behalf of Erik Denton, father of three small children who were allegedly killed by their mother last year. The suit alleges that Social Services and the Los Angeles Police Department failed to protect the children despite numerous reports of concerning behavior displayed by their mother, Liliana Carrillo.
