Joining fellow CaseyGerry partners David S. Casey Jr. Robert J. Francavilla and Frederick Schenk, Thomas D. Luneau – has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national organization comprised of the country’s leading judges and trial lawyers.
CaseyGerry recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of a nine-year-old boy whose father, was killed on New Year’s Eve 2015 when the vehicle in which he was a passenger was struck violently from behind by a 2015 Toyota Yaris.

Levine – previously a law clerk with CaseyGerry for two years – joined the legal team specializing in serious personal injury and aviation litigation.
Frederick Schenk – a longtime partner with CaseyGerry – just finished a two year term as president of the Board of Directors for 22nd District Agricultural Association (San Diego County Fair Board), a position that entailed overseeing operations at the California state owned and operated fairgrounds.
CaseyGerry’s managing partner David S. Casey, Jr. has been appointed to the national VW Multidistrict Litigation Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee overseeing litigation targeting Volkswagen over its diesel emissions scandal. He joins a talented team of lawyers working under lead counsel Elizabeth Cabraser, and is the only San Diego attorney selected to serve on the 22-member committee – which will help “broker a resolution between Volkswagen and thousands of consumers who say they were duped into buying pollutant-spewing vehicles,” according to a recent story in the Wall Street Journal.
