Frederick Schenk – a longtime partner with CaseyGerry – just finished a two year term as president of the Board of Directors for 22nd District Agricultural Association (San Diego County Fair Board), a position that entailed overseeing operations at the California state owned and operated fairgrounds.

Casey, Jr. has been appointed to the national VW Multidistrict Litigation Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee overseeing litigation targeting Volkswagen over its diesel emissions scandal. He joins a talented team of lawyers working under lead counsel Elizabeth Cabraser, and is the only San Diego attorney selected to serve on the 22-member committee – which will help “broker a resolution between Volkswagen and thousands of consumers who say they were duped into buying pollutant-spewing vehicles,” according to a recent story in the Wall Street Journal.
