A controversial diet supplement linked to liver damage and hepatitis has been recalled.

Earlier this week, the Food and Drug Administration announced that Dallas-based USPlabs is recalling certain OxyElite Pro sports supplement products – used for muscle building and weight loss – linked to an outbreak of liver illnesses.

OxyElite Pro, a popular dietary supplement used for both weight loss and muscle building, is under increasing scrutiny following an outbreak of liver disease in which two patients required liver transplants, and a third died. 

Foster Farms Plants Linked to Salmonella Outbreak

More than 20 San Diegans have fallen ill with Salmonella poisoning as the result of contaminated Foster Farms chicken products.
