Jay Paulino is an in-house investigator at Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield, LLP
He is a California state licensed private investigator, certified professional investigator, and a remote pilot for small unmanned aircraft systems. He has over 14-years of experience handling investigations for law firms and insurance companies.
Paulino works with the firm’s complex litigation team, using his expertise in planning and conducting investigations. His talent and commitment to justice continues to be instrumental to building successful cases for the team. He works on cases related to catastrophic personal injury, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, product liability and product failure cases, premises liability, strict liability, mass tort cases, and class actions. In addition, Paulino was the lead investigator for CaseyGerry’s efforts in the 2017 and 2018 Northern California Fires against PG&E.
Paulino is the San Diego district Director and the San Diego district Governor for the California Association of Licensed Investigators. He is committed to using his talents and resources towards helping others and has volunteered over hundreds of hours at local churches, non-profit organizations, the Foster Youth Program, and Feeding San Diego. His community service is recognized, and he received a statewide award for his leadership in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, Paulino was voted by his peers and awarded Investigator of the Year by the California Association of Licensed Investigators. He is committed to the pursuit of Justice and committed to paying it forward.
Paulino is also a member of the World Association of Detectives. A global alliance of investigators and security professionals. His membership expands the investigation efforts at CaseyGerry to other jurisdictions through a network of professional investigators. Paulino is bilingual in English and in Spanish.
