Motorcycle-related deaths have soared over the last decade – with Motorcycle deaths increasing by nine percent in 2012 to more than 5,000 fatalities.
An increase of 1,082 road deaths in 2012 amounted to an uptick of 3.3 percent nationwide – with most of the additional deaths from pedestrians and motorcyclists.
As we head into the dog days of August, don’t get complacent about your kids and their safety!
Unfortunately, summer is a dangerous time of year for youngsters. Children have more free time and are less supervised during summer months, so tragedies peak.
