ROBERT FRANCAVILLA NAMED ONE OF SD METRO’S TOP ATTORNEYS

Longtime Partner Also Achieves More Than $22 Million in Results

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Longtime CaseyGerry partner Robert J. Francavilla was recently named one of SD Metro Magazine’s top 25 attorneys for 2013.

Each year, SD Metro Magazine’s “Top 25 San Diego Attorneys” are chosen by a select panel of attorneys, judges and other professionals in the legal field who have keen insights into the legal world in San Diego.

Francavilla is well deserving of this recognition, having achieved more than $22 million in recent results – most recently settling a complex premises liability case on behalf of a seriously injured client for $7.5 million in damages.

Specializing in serious personal injury and head trauma, Francavilla has played a key role in some of San Diego’s most high profile cases. In 2011, he was named one of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s Trial Stars for work he did on Finley v. Club One, Inc., in which he helped obtain $1.8 million jury verdict for injured client, David Finley. He has practiced law with CaseyGerry for 25 years and is the lead counsel for the firm in cases that involve major highway design and automobile products liability.

Francavilla has received numerous accolades throughout his career and has been honored by the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego with the “Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award” on five occasions. Additionally, he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in “Best Lawyers in America” (2008-2013), and “Super Lawyers” magazine has listed him as one San Diego’s outstanding personal injury lawyers for the last six years, also naming him as one of the top 50 lawyers in San Diego. He was also named one of San Diego Magazine’s 50 people to Watch for 2012.

He is a past president of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an organization comprised of the country’s leading plaintiff and defense trial counsel.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his juris doctor degree from the University of San Diego.
