CaseyGerry Partner Named President of San Diego County Bar Foundation

SAN DIEGO  –  Gayle M. Blatt, a longtime partner with CaseyGerry, has been elected president of the board of directors of the San Diego County Bar Foundation (SDCBF), the charitable arm of the San Diego County Bar Association.

Blatt is serving a one-year term.

As president, Blatt will work closely with the SDCBF board of directors to help ensure the organization upholds its mission of providing San Diego’s legal professionals with opportunities to use their legal skills for the betterment of the community. The foundation helps over 50 causes –  including many which help vulnerable San Diegans impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination.

 Blatt is head of CaseyGerry’s complex litigation practice group, handling high profile, multi-million cases. In addition to her extensive experience in personal injury cases and successful mass torts, Gayle has held leadership positions in high profile data breach class actions such as the Sony Gaming Networks and YAHOO! Data Breach class action litigations, where she was the only California attorney to serve on the committee. She is currently part of the team litigating the data breach incident involving Citrix Systems.

Highly involved in the community, she serves as a board member of the Tom Homann Law Association Foundation and on the board of trustees of California Western School of Law. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California President’s Club and a member of the Leader’s Forum of the American Association for Justice She is a Sustaining Member of the Lawyers Club of San Diego, a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, where she previously served as president, and a member of the board of directors of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University and a J.D. from California Western School of Law.
