FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk — a leader in plaintiffs representation for more than 55 years — is expanding its resources, opening a new North San Diego County office to better service its clientele.

According to Frederick Schenk, a senior partner at Casey Gerry, the 2,000-square-foot office is located at 12544 High Bluff Drive in Carmel Valley, and will enable the firm to be accessible to clients throughout San Diego County.

“This new space complements our current offices in Banker’s Hill, and allows our firm to better accommodate both North County-based clients and referring attorneys,” he said.
Schenk said the office will be staffed with four full-time employees. Three partners, Schenk, Thomas D. Penfield and Robert J. Francavilla — each of whom reside in the North County — will divide their time between the offices.

Schenk notes that the move northward is part of a growing trend. “The area has been booming for the last five years, so law firms are increasingly jumping on the bandwagon and opening second offices — both satellite and full-service — in North County,” he said. “As San Diego County continues to grow and commute-times increase, it may one day be a given that downtown law firms will have dual offices.”

Headquartered at 110 Laurel Street in Banker’s Hill, and with additional offices in Palm Desert, Calif., Casey Gerry Reed & Schenk is the oldest plaintiffs’
law firm in San Diego. The firm’s 13 attorneys practice in various areas, including personal injury, business torts, medical malpractice, asbestos litigation, maritime law, class actions and products liability.
