Cornerstone National Insurance Company Data Breach

The company and its agents access various subscription services and databases where driver’s license information is available for the purpose of processing insurance applications. In August 2022, Cornerstone sent letters to its customers about an incident that occurred on November 29, 2021, in which an unauthorized third party gained access to agents’ user accounts and ran unauthorized database searches. Customers’ names and driver’s license numbers were exposed.
