Navistar Data Breach

CaseyGerry is investigating a data breach which may have affected 63,126 past and current employees of Navistar, Inc.

Navistar is a leading commercial and military truck manufacturer headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, US. The company employees over 1,200 people worldwide.

According to the notice of breach filed with the California Attorney General Office, Navistar reported that they became aware of the incident on May 20, 2021. The company was notified that some their data had been compromised by an unauthorized third-party. Further investigation revealed that the compromised data affected more than 60,000 individuals participating in the Navistar, Inc. Health Plan, or the Retiree Health Benefit and Life Insurance plan.

The compromised data includes plan participants’

• Name
• Address
• Date of birth
• Social Security numbers
• Information relating to plan participation
  • Provider information
  • Prescription information
