12-Year-Old Boy Suffered Serious Head Injury
SAN DIEGO (September 9, 2015) San Diego-based law firm CaseyGerry filed a lawsuit today on behalf of the family of a 12-year-old boy seriously injured after a single-engine plane crashed on Carlsbad State Beach earlier this summer.
It’s a very sad but true fact. According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration car crashes are a leading cause of death for children one to 13 years old. And many times the proper use of car seats could have prevented many tragic losses.

Frederick Schenk – a longtime partner CaseyGerry – is president of the Board of Directors for 22nd District Agricultural Association (San Diego County Fair Board). Schenk, appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown in 2011, has a long time association with the San Diego County Fair Board, and was appointed previously by former Governor Gray Davis, serving from 2002 to 2006.
